LOOKING TO SPECIAL ORDER?
You can special order from any department. Whether you're looking to order a whole case of something or looking for a product we don't carry on our shelves, we can make it happen. Check out our Special Orders page for more information.
LILAC DELI
The Lilac Deli is a staple of our co-op. The deli offers fresh food made in house every day, including soups, sandwiches, and salads. In the cooler we have pasta salads, baked tofu, and other quick eats. Baked goods include a daily muffin, cornbread, and almond butter chocolate chip cookies, alongside other treats like scones, banana bread, and more. And don't forget the coffee and tea! Many of our deli offerings are vegan and/or gluten-free.
PRODUCE
Our Produce Department is one of the highlights of our co-op! We have a long history of working with local farmers that follow certified organic or eco-logical (formerly known as uncertified organic) practices. We always choose the closest sources, like concentric rings: from the rhubarb delivered by foot from across the street, to local and state, US, and then other countries. We include these locations on our signs to give customers knowledge of where their food is coming from. Blue ‘local’ signs are a clear indication to the many localvores in our area that these products meet their needs.

GROCERY
Grocery encompasses most of our packaged foods, including our refrigerated and frozen sections. Our Grocery Department carries a varied selection of organic, GMO-free, Fair Traded, gluten-free, and locally produced products. We strive to uphold a variety of principles, which are both meaningful and flexible, when making decisions about what products to purchase for resale to our members and customers. HEALTH AND BODY CARE
Our Wellness Department provides a variety of health and body care products to get you through every season. Like all of our departments, the buying guidelines of our Wellness Department prioritize products that are certified organic or ecologically-sourced, businesses that are local or regional, and companies that are B Certified or similarly give back to their communities. Some of our products are available in bulk, including shampoos, lotions, and tinctures. We have body care containers for buying in bulk or for use when making your own body care products at home!

BULK
Have you ever wanted to try a new grain, flour, or spice but didn’t want to buy an entire package? Welcome to the convenience and adventure of buying products in bulk! In our Bulk Department you will find granolas, flours, sugars, nuts, legumes, grains, dried fruits, coffee, tea, honey, vinegar, and more! Our wall of bulk spices is especially popular, as well as our bulk nut butters. Buying bulk is economical because you can buy as little or as much as you need. You can also special order bulk products for a 10% discount. We have bags and plastic containers, but we encourage you to bring in your own clean containers when you shop our bulk section!

GIFTS
We have a stunning collection of gift items available in our store. We focus on offering products that are Locally Made; made with recycled, reused, or sustainably resourced materials; and are supplied by companies that follow Fair Trade practices. On our shelves you’ll find something for every occasion: handmade cards, bees wax candles, African baskets, books, puzzles, and plenty of kitchen items including a fantastic assortment of “to-go” ware and bamboo utensils. We also have crayons, coloring books, fridge magnets, puzzles, and other fun gifts to keep the kids busy!

GENERAL MERCHANDISE
In our General Merchandise department we focus on offering products that are environmentally-friendly. This means recyclable and bio-degradable products and packaging, sustainable sourcing, and avoiding the use of harsh chemicals or unnecessary dyes or fragrances. We carry kitchen, bathroom, and cleaning products that are gentle and eco-friendly, alongside sponges and trash bags made from recycled materials, scent-free dryer balls, and more! In this department you'll also find all of our trust-worthy pet care products, including food and litter, as well as supplements and other remedies that are safe for our furry friends. Don't forget to check out our selection of locally-made doggie treats!
